Shinichi Shimizu: Optimistic about China's IT and internet sectors.

On the evening of July 12, the South Korean government and the International Monetary Fund held a high-level meeting today at the Daejeon Convention Center in South Korea. In an exclusive interview with Sina Finance during a break in the meeting, Shunji Ide, CEO of Japan's Quantum Leaps, expressed optimism about China's IT and internet sectors, stating that many Japanese companies are interested in investing in the Chinese securities market.
"New hardware, new electronic products, new systems, there are many investment opportunities in the IT and internet sectors," Shunji Ide stated. His company, Quantum Leaps, has already invested in the Chinese company Baidu, which focuses on search engines. He expressed great admiration for Baidu, stating that in addition to helping emerging companies in Japan, his company is also expanding into the Chinese market.
He believes that in the future, whether in Hong Kong or Shanghai, foreign companies will have more opportunities. Even many new Japanese companies are very interested in the Chinese market.
"China is a very large market, and the Chinese securities market is also growing. I believe many Japanese people will invest in China," Shunji Ide stated.
