Film Slitting MachineEnd face unevenness refers to the phenomenon of uneven end faces occurring under the condition of unchanged film width.
The end face unevenness of the film slitting machine generally has two forms: one is irregular unevenness, and the other is a regular wavy unevenness.
1) Causes of end face unevenness:
1) Poor adjustment of slitting parameters, such as poor coordination between slitting speed and tension/pressure, etc. The tension/pressure curve should be set according to the slitting speed;
2) Abnormal vibration of the slitting equipment;
3) Imbalance of the slitting winding pressure roller;
4) Inconsistent parameters of the winding arms at both ends, resulting in force distribution during the winding process that affects the flatness of the end face, usually appearing as wavy end face unevenness.
5) Influence of film characteristics, such as haze, etc. Slitting parameters should be set according to different film characteristics;
6) Uneven film thickness;
7) Wrinkling during the slitting process can also cause end face unevenness, adjust to flatten the film;
8) Excessive static electricity in the film, the static electricity performance of the film should be improved or check if the static eliminator is ineffective.
