In recent years, China's plastic machine industry has developed rapidly. The industry giant headed by Haitian has become a leader in the international arena. The overall manufacturing level of the industry has also grown steadily. However, the advantage in the quantity of output does not cover the lack of high-end products. The trade deficit of the big country in 2010 has reached 900 million US dollars, and the amount of imported plastic machines is almost twice the amount of exports. According to data recently released by the customs, China imported a total of 15,000 plastic processing equipment and exported 44,000 units last year, with import and export volume of US$2 billion and US$1.1 billion respectively. China's imports of plastic presses are mainly from Japan, Germany, and Taiwan. The three regions account for 80% of the total imports. Exports are mainly targeted at developing countries such as Brazil, Iran, India, Turkey, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Injection molding machine is the main product of the plastic machine industry, accounting for about half of the total import and export volume of plastic presses. Although India continues to implement anti-dumping on China's domestic injection molding machines, China's injection molding machine exports have continued to grow by more than 70% in 2010.
